Who Is This Guy?

My name is Jason Montiel. I live in Sacramento with my wife, son and daughter.

I worked for 19 years as a reporter and editor, first for print and later for Web. I’m now an information officer with the state, where I edit and manage Web content.

I named this blog after what I am. I’m really more of a dad than an editor.  It’s just that Dad Editor didn’t sound so hot.

I love this town and love my family. A very nice life, indeed.
